G’day and warm greetings from Australia!
As robotics continues to shape our daily lives, the importance of nurturing young minds with creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness has never been greater. Since its founding in 1998, the International Robot Olympiad Committee (IROC) has been committed to building a robot-centric future through education and innovation. We believe that today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, and robotics provides a powerful platform for them to explore, invent, and connect.
The International Robot Olympiad (IRO) is more than a competition—it’s a global celebration of youth potential, technological curiosity, and cross-cultural collaboration. Each year, young participants from around the world come together to challenge themselves, build lifelong friendships, and share their passion for science and technology.
Now, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 27th International Robot Olympiad, to be held from 17 to 21 December 2025 in beautiful Gold Coast, Australia. Known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and cutting-edge facilities, Gold Coast is the perfect place for this year’s global gathering of brilliant young minds.
This year’s event will be an unforgettable journey — not just a showcase of robotics talent, but a festival of learning, sharing, and dreaming big. From hands-on challenges to inspiring innovations, IRO 2025 will empower participants to see technology not just as a tool, but as a force for positive change in the world.
We can’t wait to welcome you down under. Let’s build the future—together!
Warm regards,
